Who Is the Senior Team?
The Senior Team was created by Barry Lebow, a 50+ year real estate veteran and acknowledged as one of the leading real estate experts in Canada. He is a top producing Realtor who took a turn into the field of seniors when he founded the professional designation program for Canadian Realtors, the Accredited Senior Agent or ASA. Barry is highly regarded for his contributions to professional, organized real estate and for his charitable work.
Some Realtors work with us on a regular basis, others work with us when needed. As part of the RE/MAX Ultimate Realty Inc. Brokerage with hundreds of Realtors, we can match most language requirements and markets. Most of the team members carry the prestigious ASA professional designation.
As well, the non-Realtor experts we work with, and there are dozens, bring legal, tax, transition management, care counselling and other services to the clients of the team. No matter what real estate expertise is needed, we are able to match our clients with top professionals, here, in Toronto, across Ontario, North America and in other countries when required.
The Senior Team is the multi-use Swiss Army Knife. They help families, help seniors, work with complex matters and with lawyers, accountants, trustees, executors and they understand the workings of the legal system, of what executors need, how to deal with a difficult situation such as moving mom or dad or the nasty family war. We bring in our transition manager to organize, to clean out and deal with the dreaded stuff.

Barry Lebow started in real estate sales in 1968. During those years he has proven to be a well-known expert in areas of real estate inclusive of: valuation, agency, stigma, general real estate issues and has testified in about 600 trials, predominately in Ontario but also across North America. More About Barry
Barry has lectured on various issues to audiences of Realtors, appraisers, mortgage brokers and lawyers across Canada, the United States, Central America and the Caribbean. As well, he is often quoted by media and has written columns for various publications as well as having been a long time columnist for REM Magazine.
He is the founder of the Canadian Accredited Senior Agent designation program and an award winning RE/MAX broker. RE/MAX Ultimate has acknowleged that Barry is regarded for being in the elite top 5% of Canadian Realtors based on sales achievement. He has maintained that status for years. He is ranked at being in the top 4% of the more than 52,000 Realtor members of the Toronto Real Estate Board.
Barry has served on committees, as a member, as chair or co-chair, on national boards of various national and local real estate organizations.
In 2010, Barry was awarded the rarely presented Meritorious Achievement Award for his lifelong professional contributions to organized real estate in Canada by the Toronto Chapter, Real Estate Institute of Canada.
In 2018 Barry was honoured by the national Real Estate Institute of Canada, at their annual convention and winning the prestigious Quadreal Literary Award for the best in real estate journalism and research in Canada.
Barry believes in giving back. Currently, Barry serves more than a decade as a member on three social housing buildings in Toronto. He is an advisor and the official Realtor, appointed by Baycrest Hospital for their life lease building at 2 Neptune Drive, Toronto. He is an active community leader, a person who supports various charities. He has advised multiple charitable and religious institutions on real estate matters.
Barry has been honoured many times for his contributions to the real estate profession and is grateful to an industry that has allowed a highschool dropout to achieve a higher education and to contribute to so many who have been impacted positively from his teaching, writing and just giving back.

My friends and colleagues describe me as a mulit-talented individual who believes in professional service. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a double major in Urban and Economic Geography & Cultural and Historical Geography, I worked in the architectural field with my father for over 10 years.

This work experience provided me with invaluable knowledge about construction, development and urban planning. This has taught me the value of true professional, superior client services. In 1992, I chose real estate as my career. Since I was born in Toronto and have lived here all my life, I know the attributes of most of its neighbourhoods. I live in Don Mills, but I have worked throughout the Greater Toronto Area. I believe in expanding my creative talents and in continuous learning. My skills in desktop publishing, computer graphics and multimedia help me to create innovative marketing ideas and materials for my clients, as well as providing me with new opportunities to develop my creative thinking. In 2003, I started to market myself to the 55+ population as I am patient, love to help people and realized this is a recession proof part of real estate. I hold an ASA (Accredited Senior Agent) designation and was instrumental in the creation of the ASA program which launched in 2006.Currently,I am not a licensed sales representative anymore due to some health issues. I now am a Marketing Assistant to Barry Lebow and The Senior Team GTA.
